Celebrating 50 Years

Tank Services is celebrating our 50th Anniversary during 2024!

The business was founded in 1974 to provide abrasive blasting and application of protective coatings to tanks and pump jacks in the Ohio oilfields. Since 1974 both Tank Services and the Corrosion Industry have evolved significantly with major strides made in the development of industry standards, documentation, safety, equipment, PPE and quality standards. Compliance with industry, PUC and federal standards has in part driven the industry evolution and innovation.

Company Events & Projects

Development by original founder, Ray Williams of equipment to capture and recycle spent abrasive.

Completed work on the Statute of Liberty in the early 80’s.

The Company began offering pipeline recoat and cathodic protection services in the early 2000’s.
